Description:


A. Backend development:
1. Assist in developing and maintaining backend services and APIs
2. Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
3. Debug and troubleshoot backend issues
4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation
5. Help optimize application performance and database queries
B. DevOps & cloud infrastructure:
1. Support deployment processes across AWS and GCP environments
2. Help manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
3. Assist in containerization efforts using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
4. Monitor application health and infrastructure metrics
5. Support infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform or CloudFormation
C. AWS responsibilities:
1. Work with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS
2. Assist in managing IAM roles and security policies
3. Help configure CloudWatch for monitoring and alerting
4. Support VPC and networking configurations
D. GCP responsibilities:
1. Work with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, GKE
2. Assist with Cloud Build and deployment pipelines
3. Help configure Stackdriver/Cloud Monitoring
4. Support VPC and networking setups
E. Maintenance & support:
1. Participate in on-call rotation (with mentorship)
2. Help troubleshoot production issues
3. Perform routine maintenance tasks and updates
4. Document processes and create runbooks
