KaroStartup is a fast-growing digital media platform focused on covering Indian startups, founder journeys, funding news, and business case studies. The platform has published over 5,000 startup stories and is now focused on dominating YouTube search within the Indian startup ecosystem. Its mission is to ensure valuable startup stories rank effectively, build long-term organic visibility, and strengthen search-driven discoverability. We are seeking a dedicated SEO & YouTube Growth Intern whose primary focus will be driving YouTube video rankings, increasing organic traffic, and building long-term discoverability for our content. This is not a general marketing role but a deeply execution-driven position centered specifically on YouTube SEO and sustainable search growth.
1. Drive YouTube SEO execution to improve video rankings in search results.
2. Increase organic traffic and enhance long-term discoverability of content.
3. Conduct keyword research for startup-related topics within the Indian startup niche.
4. Identify ranking opportunities and develop SEO-focused content strategies.
5. Optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags before and after publishing.
6. Create SEO-rich and clickable headlines to improve search performance.
7. Suggest thumbnail improvements to enhance click-through rate (CTR).
8. Track impressions, watch time, and audience retention using analytics tools.
9. Study competitor ranking strategies and analyze YouTube algorithm patterns.
10. Recommend long-tail topic ideas and build structured video content clusters.
11. Optimize startup articles for Google ranking through on-page SEO improvements.
12. Implement internal linking strategies and keyword optimization for website content.
13. Apply basic technical SEO understanding to improve overall performance.
14. Suggest SEO-friendly content topics aligned with ranking goals.
